To many snacks to many turtles, not many fish. Was there 6 hours and only caught 1 🐢not too happy about the fishing experience 😕
Attended a Geocaching event here. Lots of fun. Great park. There's a playground. There's a swim beach. Fishing. There's camping sites. Wish we would have taken more photos.
Saturday, March 16th the camp area at Red Oak was busy. Brought my children to the park and the camp sites were packed. A little on the cool side but a nice day none the less.
This place seems to be a local Boy Scout Troops home camping area. Last time we were out this way we got to to see the Boy Scouts do a flag retirement. It was so awesome to see the boys in uniform showing respect and precision in what they were doing. The RV/Camp Sites are well taken care of. Bathroom and showers at both ends of the area. there is a swim area as well. Nice little place they got here and what a treat it was to see them Boys doing their thing.
Enjoyed camping here...changed alot in 30 years. Need quarters for shower houses.
