This campground was the perfect spot to land when we were having mechanical problems while traveling cross country. They reassured us that we could have our spot until our issues were solved and did everything they could to accommodate us. Great location and the nicest staff. We will definitely stay here again on future trips!
We needed the campground for one night on our journey to Missoula. This was a very nice campground and so quiet for the sleep we desperately needed. The ladies in the office were so friendly and helpful! We were told about visiting Painted Canyon on our way out. We did and it was so amazing! We would definitely use this campground again if the opportunity presents itself! Thank you North Park RV campground in Dickinson, North Dakota!
The staff was excellent, both on the phone and in person. Maureen, her husband and Janice. Maureen was a great tour guide for the area. Left space between RV's when checking people in which is always appreciated. Quiet park with excellent location for us to go into Theodore Roosevelt park. In fact when we saw it was right in town we were worried about noise but it was not an issue. Place is clean. Washrooms clean and showers HOT. Would recommend
Never in my life have I been so disrespected by a ‘business’. I contacted this company in regards to inquiring about an RV spot for a 6 month stay. I first spoke with a lady on the phone and was upfront about asking if they allow dogs since their reviews, and website state that they allow big and small dogs. She asked the breeds and I respectfully told her and let her know that I have legal documentation for one of them as it’s a medically prescribed dog that helps me with my daily duties, her response was “we can’t help you here, try these Rv parks-“ ( let me remind you that I asked for absolutely NO additional accommodations) I requested an explanation on why I wouldn’t be able to stay here and her response was that they don’t allow long term big dogs.. and the weight limit for dogs is 30 pounds- which made no sense since other reviews say that they bring their big dogs here all the time. The phone call was then disconnected, assuming she hung up on me, I had to call back and leave a message to have her call me back as I still had questions about the area since I’m not from there and to inquire about any locations she may have that she could provide so I didn’t have to call every Rv park in the state. She called back and I told her that I’ve had this issue before and had to hire an attorney to get more information on having a service dog so I was protected and that I could make sure that I had any legal documentation necessary per the FHA, she continued to tell me that they couldn’t help me and then instantly passed the phone to a man who replied with “do you have a pen and paper?” I replied with “I believe so”, then he started giving me a number to write down and ended with “That’s my attorney we deal with people like YOU all the time. We will be taking legal action” and then hung up the phone. People like ME? Whoever owns this location is not a business person and very discriminating. I wish that I would have recorded the conversation so I could let everyone know that if you’re someone with a disability and/or service dog, or just a pet in general, STAY AWAY. Please support a local business who will not threaten to take legal action by you asking if they accept service dogs. And dear god, PLEASE read the reviews before you even inquire about staying here.
