This recreation area is part of Sakakawea Lake
Excellent boat ramp. If it is windy you still can fish right in the bay.
Great place beware you will need water shoes if you plan on getting in the water. Very rocky. It's a beautiful lake we had a jet ski and had access to it from where the Jeep is.
Camping spots 48 to 52 suck, the ground osteoarthritis so uneven it's nearly impossible to get your unit level without a truck load of blocks. I do not recommend those spots .they need to be reworked and make them more user-friendly!
Loved this campground!!!! Such a beautiful view of the bay, clean, friendly neighbors. And an amazing staff who even came to look for the phone we thought we’d left behind. We will 100% be back! Thank you!
