From Elk City, ID, take State Rt. 14 west 2.3 miles to Red River Ranger Station sign (Forest Rt. 222). Turn left onto Rt. 222 and go 14 miles to Red River Hot Springs sign at "Y" intersection. Bear left onto Forest Rt. 234 and go 5.6 miles to campground sign. The campground is on both sides of the road.
The toilets were very clean and the tables and fire rings were in good shape.
Wonderful campground. Friendly host. Very quiet and not crowded. Right down the road from the hot springs where you can get a shower and a burger for not much money.
