Great spot on side of mountain [no view from camp ground] but a short walk will produce a wonderful sight to view. Camping fee also pays for use of state beach for swimming [about 1 mile away] There are 12 sites [4?] lean-to's and the rest platform camping]
my only issue is the road going to the camp ground ... rough ... go slow and you will make it .. no problem ...
check on web for site reservations and availability
Our site was spacious and private with lots of distance between us and other campers. The long access road is cratered with potholes, but the upside is that only fellow campers use it, so there is almost no traffic noise. This is a place to get away from the sounds of civilization and hear only the wind in the trees.
Rural camping place. Quiet. Has outhouses and in some of the sites, lean to things.
No showerhouse that I'm aware of in the camp itself. There is one at the beach area nearby.
I recommend this for quiet secluded camping experience.
