No CORI checks are done so don't be surprised if something bad happens to you or your children. BEWARE!!!!

If we could do zero stars it would be appropriate for our experience and shabby material condition of the campground. We were in the area looking for camping as we were getting into the early evening. Unfortunately cell service was nonexistent so try as we might we couldn’t contact the campground office. We arrived at 1730 hours and attempted to find someone who would help us sort out an overnight camping spot. The office was closed and no one was about. Most of the campers there appeared to have been abandoned and were in fair to poor condition. The grass was uncut and place appeared as if it’s best days were behind it. This should have been a red flag but we were tired and just need electricity and a one night stay. I eventually found a gentleman and his wife who were previously the campground owner. He said he knew the owner and said to find a spot pay for it in the morning.

All this sounded great until a loud knock came on the camper door at 0700 hours the next morning. The person knocking was a woman who demanded to know what we were doing there. We tried to explain and this only seemed to stoke the fire. See cursed at me and told us to leave the campground immediately or she would call the police. I welcomed this as it may have restored equilibrium to the encounter. I finally was able to at least pay for our night and we wasted no time in leaving and will never be back.
