The park is very small but it is extremely cool! Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area

Cascade park was lots of fun. I will warn you though, it is EXTREMELY slippery in many areas of the natural falls. Lots of algae on the rocks. You honestly have to be super careful walking around the cascades. We witnessed a pretty bad fall and it was scary for everyone. Not a great place to bring babies or the elderly. The public parking was easy. It had 2 port-a-potties in the lot and they were well maintained. It is also within walking distance to a store that sells tubes, as well as restaurants and an ice cream shop.

A must stop if you're ever in the Woodstock area. Whether you just have 15 minutes or and entire day, this place checks all the boxes. Excellent place to take in the beauty of New Hampshire, take a dip in the river, and brave some natural waterslides. Bring a tube and water shoes for extra, stubbed-toe free fun. Bonus: Adjacent to a delicious ice cream shop.

This should be a destination for families!! Forget the amazing restaurants nearby and the super great tourist shops…THIS place is magical. We are originally from Denver so we have a love for rock hopping! The water is shallow in fall so there are plenty of dry rocks to weave around and find paths as you go. Fantastic place to wear out the kids without fear of them falling in and floating down the stream. Well… they will probably figure out a way to get wet, but it’s pretty safe!! Parental assistance regularly needed.
