About Campground

Restful camping in the woods of Music Springs - The most peaceful place in East Texas, where the touch of God runs through the woods. A place of refuge and a place to remember for many who visit.

Come to East Texas and rest your soul at the peaceful grounds of Music Springs. Encountering the peace by staying at our camp grounds is unique, like no other place. This will mean closer encounters with the weather and with sounds of wildlife. Maybe coyotes howling at evening in the creek. You may be kept awake by the sound of wind in the trees or song birds. Sunrise will come and be noticed much earlier when living outdoors. We try to do our best to prevent unfavorable conditions and have implemented many extra measures to ensure you a wonderful stay This is just our disclaimer, so you have been fair warned. :-)

This is a Family-friendly venue. DO NOT mistake it for a party place. Loud music will not be tolerated after 11:00, or earlier if other guests are on site. Strict adherence to rules must be followed or guests will be asked to leave without any consideration for refund.

The cabin was comfortable and had everything I needed. It was set among the pines, peaceful and secluded.

The owners, Mike and Vicki, are awesome! They are very accommodating and will do all they can to make your stay the best it can be. The land is beautiful and you can pitch a tent or rent one of the many campers, stay in a Tee Pee, or cottages that they have. Each one has a theme. They have all kinds of games, an amphitheater, a large outdoor kitchen that you can use for preparing your feast. They have bathrooms that are very convenient to all and have toiletries for you to use in the shower. Sundays are a treat as they have Java and Jesus outside of their house. There you can get to know them better and fellowship with others. It's very enjoyable and joy-filled. Consider a stay here at Music Springs, you won't regret it.

Can't even describe in words what this weekend meant to us. A perfect place to slow down and Be Still! The words that come to mind... Humble, Peaceful, and Joyous. What a refreshing and restful environment. Can't wait to come back and discover more about this area. The owners were so friendly, the attention to detail was so appreciated. They anticipated the needs of their guests before they even know they need it. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in Julia's Cottage, loved the cozy and comfortable space. We have already booked our next stay in 'HIPPIE CHICK'. ❤ The grounds are beautiful and functional. The grass is phenomenal, could have laid there forever. So much charm and creativity. I am forever changed. Thank you, Mike and Vickie!

Loved staying at Music Springs, from the well-maintained (and quiet) grounds, to the thoughtful accommodations and responsiveness of the hosts, and especially getting to support a mission and ministry that has a greater impact on the world. Booked for the weekend, and would gladly book again - and extend the stay!

Highlights: enclosed (and heated) restrooms that were clean and always stocked with necessities, basic cookings supplies provided, ample access to running water on the grounds, and lots of space to unplug (or disconnect) as needed.

Be sure to stay for Java & Jesus, take a walk on the prayer path, and visit the animals! We had a blast and are grateful we got to visit.
