Fish Creek is the second largest campground in the park and is one of the campgrounds in the park that takes reservations. Sites within the campground are surrounded by trees and provide shade and some privacy to both tent and RV campers. Some sites, though not directly on the shore of Lake McDonald, offer filtered views of the lake.

Fish Creek campground is a nice campground and I have stayed there multiple times. The campground does however need some updates. The bathrooms are the main reason for the 4 stars because other than that it is a very nice campground that has ample shade and a nice scenery of beautiful pine trees. It sits near Apgar village which is a plus, I would recommend this campground when staying in Glacier National Park!
Quiet campground in a good location.can easily walk down to Lake Macdonald and enjoy the views. Convenient of you are coming from West Glacier and plan to stay on the west side of the park. Shower 3 in loop A had strong pressure and was very hot - recommend that one if you are staying in that part of the site.
