Copper Creek Campground is a small wooded campground covering two acres.
From Philipsburg travel South on Highway 1 for about 6.5 miles. Take Highway 38 West for 9 miles. Turn on Middle Fork Road (Forest Road 5106) and continue approximately 10 miles to the campground.
Was a busy weekend when I stayed, and a little too close/crowded for my taste, but it's an excellent place for families, with a little creek for the kids to play in. - A lot of sound and activity during the days.
Nice campground, spaces are private, not right on top of each other. Cement tables on a concrete pad and a fire pit. Clean outhouses if your tenting it. Plenty of room for longer campers. Very beautiful, woodsie place to camp and not to far from the town of Lincoln. We will camp here again for sure.
Had a great time, even with the kids! Sun was warm, creek was cold, hammock was comfy. Can't wait to go back. The bathrooms and grounds were very well maintained.
6 glorious days in one of the most beautiful places in Montana. Hiking, swimming, critter watching, cooking over a campfire, a babbling brook....yep my idea of heaven.
