You will love this place. 3 miles off 160 on H hwy. on the northfork white river. 5 miles from dawt mill.
Right by the water. Did some mushroom hunting. Ate well!! Had the place to myself. Free area, 2 vault bathrooms.one at each end. Fire rings, lantern post. Gravel space for trailer. Boondocking on level ground.was very happy with this area.
Once you pull over at the one car bridge, you may not notice the trail entrance above the boat landing. After locating the entrance, you can walk a short piece and see the natural spring and river.
We had an amazing time camping at Pettit canoe and campgrounds, owners were great at providing transportation. Campground was clean and canoes were in good shape. A must see and visit.
