This is a nice park. On the edge of town, easy to get to, nice swimming area and playground.

Pierz Park is a great place to camp. It is great to have your little ones play at the playground and swim in the little area in the river.

We visited this park for a family reunion. We were here once before probably 20 years ago and the swimming hole was just like I remember. We spent most of the time swimming around the dam then and that's what our daughter did now. It's not very deep all the way across from the beach and all the children were swimming right up to the wall, jumping off the dam and climbing back up. They're is a ladder at the dam. Play at your own risk, obviously, but I was not worried at any point.

There are two very large "barn" halls that have picnic tables inside. There is a serving/bar type area that we had our potluck on. I THINK there is a wash area since people were getting clean dishes back but I did not investigate. There are a few other smaller pavilions with tables and some had outlets. There is also a full size basketball court, and a medium sized playground.

Parking can be tricky. There was a wedding ceremony occupying the other "barn" and some green space (which there is plenty of) and the lot is shared with the municipal golf course. There were no open spaces and some cars had to be parked on the grass.

Great place to bring kids and attend special events. They have a full playground, swimming area, multiple pavilions you can rent, and camping area with a golf course. We have been going here for many years and our kids have been going here since they were born.
