We did some crab and fishing today. Staying up here cooking up some good food and getting a break from the tourists scene for a bit

The cabin was run down and leaking water in the bathroom, which they were apparently aware of and failed to mention until the end of the stay when I brought it up to them. None of the doors shut properly and the main lock was not user friendly. The parking situation is terrible. Every time we left, we came back to someone parked in our spot. No towels were provided like in the brochure stated and no one ever seemed to be available to provide them. I was also charged a an additional $40 “tax” with absolutely no explanation. A lot of money to pay for a low quality experience. We won’t be back.

Surprised my husband with a weekend trip here in Mid-March. The cabin was clean and beautiful! I loved being close enough to Florence that I could still go enjoy the town, shops, and beach but far enough away that we weren't fighting crowds. Quiet and peaceful. Tons of options for activities and fun. Will be planning another trip here!

Rented a pontoon boat and loved this experience. We traveled the lake with no problems and even spent some time on the dock fishing (hooked a rainbow trout). Traveling with little ones, they burned off some energy on the obstacle course floats they have. We did not stay in the cabins, but i would think they are a great time saver to be on the lake and get all the extras the resort has to offer!

We have been coming here with our kids every year for many years and love it. It’s like summer camp for kids and adults! Adorable cabins, a great beach for kids, awesome fishing, friendly owners. Dog friendly too.
