3 Miles east of Sweet Home on Hwy 20 at Foster lake.
One of the nicer County Parks we have used. Sites are large relatively private with lots of well maintained trees and shrubs. The washroom facility is very nice with clean toilets and showers.
Our only complaint would be the water level was really low being October so it's hard to get to the water to swim. Not an issue in the summer I assume
Nice and level paved sites. Excellent views of the mountains and the reservoir (which looks more like a natural lake) from the short walking trail. The only problem was the WiFi would not connect because I think we were too far from the router or something but we had an excellent 5G signal from T-Mobile so we were able to stream music and TV. The Park Hosts were helpful, professional, and polite. Well lit at night with many security cameras all around the park.
Right beside Foster Lake. Gorgeous views. I'm in a 75 ft rv pull through (only needed 48 ft). Quiet, privacy fences, concrete pads. Was so calming, I went on a walk (me in my wheelchair) with hubby and son to waters edge. Was only about 5 minutes from my rv parking. Host was there on site to help with anything we needed. Some spots have numbers and an arrow, but my spot did not...was painted on the ground, so I drove past it twice! My fault, I wasn't looking on the ground. Can't say enough. Definitely worth the drive off of the I-5 for a place to rest and relax. Only stayed 1 night. Visited with family. A definite come back spot if I come this way again. Thanks for a peaceful night's rest.
