I had stayed there for 3 nights. Then for 3 more nights. Because it is such a nice quiet place. I really enjoyed my time there. In fact after Ian done with this review. I am going to call up and see about going back for a week. While I was there. I looked and looked for just one piece of trash on the ground. I could not find such as a cigarette butt on the ground. This place is one of the cleanest camp grounds I have ever seen and the staff are very friendly. I recommend Merced River resort. You won't be disappointed .

A very relaxing RV park to bring your travel trailer or motor home to live in while in the area. Some nurses park there while traveling to work in the area as do other professions coming to work in the surrounding towns. Some stay there while visiting family attending nearby UC Merced or Stanislaus State. Also a great place for an out of the way vacation near a beautiful running river. There is security and maintence on duty and also to help you get to your camp site if you come in late. Some live there year round in their RVs, finding it a great alternative to apartment living. No, there are no rooms to rent as it is a place to rent space to park your RV.

If you are staying for one night, that would probably be okay. If you’re staying any longer.. absolutely not! This place is nothing but drama and conflict. Anything you do, someone is calling the manager complaining. My 11 year old son was riding his bike on the road and the manager came out with a megaphone yelling at him and telling him to go home. I was going 5 mph in my truck, which is the marked speed limit and I got charged a 35 dollar speeding ticket. Deliveries are ALWAYS an issue because of the locked gate and staff never letting delivery trucks in. People are always rude and have an attitude. It’s just awful! We travel full time for my husbands business and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a park. And then when you bring a problem to their attention, all they can say is “are you joking?” and proceed to act like they do nothing wrong. BEWARE! Cause I wish I did.

I wasn't sure about staying here after I read some of the reviews but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the park is absolutely beautiful and clean. It was quiet and they even had accommodations for our dogs. They have a really nice dog park one for large dogs and one for small dogs. I have no complaints! We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for one night and at a cost of $55, there are many better places. The sites are very small and right on top of each other with no privacy. Clearly, the washrooms have been out for a very long time and their "reno" seems like a permanent thing. The location was very convenient as it was close to the highway, but the highway noise and frequent train traffic were very disruptive to a decent night's sleep. Staff was friendly.
