Cabins are minimally furnished. Take your sleeping bag and towels. A fishing village! The fishing is great and would stay there again no question about it.
I've been coming to Mason's for years. It has a good vibe everyone is helpful and it's a fun camping fishing experience. The rooms are underwhelming and I was surprised they had no bedding towels soap or anything. So bring your own stuff. We always more the boat there and the staff is friendly and helpful. We took the boat down to Neah Bay and caught the biggest fish of the day and the biggest king I've seen in a long time
Do not always believe what they say at the resort when it comes to a fishing update because they will tell you it is good fishing when it is bad. Beware of that.
With the fishing regs where you have to release the wild chinook and silvers….go somewhere else and save yourself a ton of money.
I dry camped for few days over at Sekiu to fish, Olsons’s was perfect spot! I believe it was $30 a night, and the each camp spot had a fire ring, picnic table and flat space for your tent or a camper. Bathrooms were always clean. I don’t have a RV or a boat, just a dude with few fishing rods in the car chasing salmon. Perfect place to get away! They also do provide full hook ups for those of you traveling rvs and boat. The spot was very quite and peaceful entire time i was there.
If you want a luxury experience then this is not the right place for you. But if you are a fisherman and just want a decent and clean place to rest for the night, then this place fits the bill quite nicely. I appreciate the upgrades they did: the campground bathrooms are clean and docks have been upgraded!
Ask them for fishing tips too. They talk to a lot of fishermen so they can usually point you to the general direction of a good bite.
Shoutout to the young guy last year at the shop. I forget his name but he was super friendly and helpful.
