Made it there in our 97 Camery… hahaha! Had to park a ways from the car, and walk the tent in, but we could still see our vehicle from our campsite. Totally worth it!!! The machine to pay was broken, and there was no one there to take payment. There’s a Walmart 15min away for any forgotten supplies.

It was so pretty, and because we went in the winter it was not crowded at all. The water is very low, so there is no water around Lone Rock. My boyfriend and I went kayaking and his legs got stuck in this quicksand/sink hole around when we tried to dock, so be careful! Would go back again, but be careful bc the sand can be like mud, so take a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you drive deeper towards the water. It was great place to camp!

Sunset time is beat time for capture the beauty of light reflecting on mountains. This is the place where you can camp beside the Rock and beach. Perfect combination of mountains and beautiful beach..

An incredible hidden gem! We found this spot last minute. It was only $14 to camp - we slept in our car and many others had RV’s. Not sure a tent would be the best option for this beach as it’s windy and sandy. You can camp anywhere you want on the beach, fires are ok and there are restrooms. Definitely be careful with the sand! We almost got stuck in our Subaru.

Unforgettable place. A very beautiful and sandy beach with cool and clean water. The ground was soft, but we reached our destination with a Ford F150. No problem.
