Not an RV Resort. If you are looking for a place to spend some time, this is not the place. I stayed here overnight with my family on a road trip and I was quick to leave the next morning. I was contemplating on losing payment and go to another campground but was exhausted after a full day of traveling. This place is more of a trailer park than an RV resort. Stay away!!
Beware, the pictures of this place must be very old when the park was a Yogi Bear campground, the pictures are very misleading, the cabin that was assigned probably wouldn't pass a city inspector, there were electrical outlets with No covers & wires hanging out, this would've been very unsafe for the grandkids, we arrived, showed ourselves to the cabin, stayed approx. 30 mins when we went back to the office and asked for a refund, they didn't refund our pet deposit even though we didn't stay at all again if you don't understand several reviews say to RUN & RUN you should, DO NOT STAY HERE, BEWARE !!!!!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE! To say the pictures online LIE would be a complete understatement! The staff was friendly and I can’t really complain on them. But the best thing about it was the slide/pool area! However, the grass was never cut inside of the area and was well above 2 feet the entire month we stayed. The children’s area was usually over run with the “full time stayers” getting drunk or just being sketchy. When I called to book our spot I even asked if all of the amenities were open, was told yes, and realized when we got there that the volleyball area and golf area were so overgrown and out of shape we couldn’t even play the games. The boats were so broken up, I’m sure they wouldn’t have floated even if we tried. The grass in our area (and pretty much all of the camper spots) was never cut until 3 weeks after we had been there and the guy cut it with a weed eater. The laundry room was clean but the washers took forever to wash. The dumpster area was so disgusting with trash everywhere and feral animals all digging in the garbage. I would not suggest this place to anyone who is wanting something more family friendly or safer.
For starters the staff is absolutely amazing! Extremely welcoming and friendly. Office is nice and clean as well as cabins. The lots were kept up and clean. The pool area is so relaxing and enjoyable as well. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a getaway !
I don't even know where to start. Run, run, run. We was planning on staying here for 4 nights, was going to have a surprise 30yj birthday party for my youngest. The grandkids were coming. The cabin was a disgrace. You wanna grill..Well it's in the dog park, if you don't bring your own. Very run down. I will give kudos to Brenda at the front desk, she was the only thing pleasant there. Best Western Plus in Sulphur is amazing and the prices very comparable if not better than this campground.
