We offer RV camping (mix of full and water/electric only) and tent camping in idyllic settings with great amenities to keep campers of all ages entertained for days. We also have full hook-up spaces available in our 50+ acres of land for long-term RV space rental.
We are surrounded by beautiful country with views of rolling hills and seasonal streambeds lined with native live oak and sycamore trees and the panorama of Rodriguez Peak and the Palomar Mountain range. this has been by far the best experience camping. The staff is amazing They’re very flexible. And also you lay in your tent facing the lake and it’s like paradise you hear the birds you see the ducks and the bathroom is very clean 🧼
Lilac Oaks is like camping on Fantasy Island. The 3 ponds, adorable ducks, tropical foliage, and mountain views are amazing. It's quiet and kid and pet friendly. Bathrooms and showers are clean and you'll get in great shape climbing the hill to get to them 🤣. Great hideaway in the SoCal mountains!
Okay I don’t know where to really start. But we have been coming here for years. Everytime we come it’s to eat, and sleep, and unwind because we come to Southern California to compete in a dog competition. We have always felt safe and by 10 things always seemed to wind down. We are aware that there are permanent residents. But around the “lake” they pretty much kept it open for weekend campers. This time. All the spots in front of the lake across from us were permanent campers, they all night on one night were drunk and fighting about not driving while they rev’d the engine of their car. Drove out of here psycho and drove back in shortly and started screaming and fighting again. We didn’t feel leaving any of our belongings behind was safe. So we took valuables with us everyday. This is a HUGE difference from last year and years passed. Unfortunately we will not be staying here again. For a little more a night we can have full hookups and less feeling of being unsafe. We are 4 older women that travel and this made all of us uncomfortable and debate wether or not pack up and eat the $230 we spent. But we decided to stick it out because we didn’t know where else to go. Your campground needs a overhaul ba
Lilac Oaks is a beautiful little campground. The office staff and maintenance crew were friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by their open hours not being 24/7. She was great about returning my call and texted information I needed. My husband and I brought our grandchildren. They had a lot of fun riding their bikes, catching frogs, and checking out the fish and tadpoles in the pond. The residents are respectful. Drivers were slow and cautious. Our site was under a great old oak tree and overlooked the duck pond. We were very happy while we were there.
Thank you for a lovely little getaway!
This is a great place! It's clean and nice and really relaxing! Safe too. There are ponds to fish in and a rec room with pool tables and air hockey! Also a swimming pool that's actually clean. Also a hiking trail. I will stay again without hesitation.
