This place is AWESOME. Nice wide circle driveway to go into the office to get checked in. They have propane fill station on site $15 for a 20lb tank not bad. They also have firewood $5 a bundle but its twice that of normal campgrounds. Lots of water frontage. Lots of shade. You can drive back and pick your own site. If your not sure she will gladly take you back. Sites are clean and people are very friendly. Its the kind of place that if you want to hang out in a group with others you can(we hand several invites while setting up). If you want to be left alone you will. One of the best I've been to. It has the perfect balance of a laid back atmosphere yet well managed. Bathrooms are nice new log cabin type. 5 out of 5 for us.
This should be a peaceful place to go camping but with Renee managing it, it's not very peaceful. Connie is amazing! Renee came yelling at us for things we didn't do. Threatening us and then trying to hold my sisters baby after just getting done yelling and Threatening us. She should be fired! I will not go back as long as Renee is there! Beware, she has not only done this to us. She has done it to several people.
What a wonderful campground. It's clean and quiet. The owners are so helpful and friendly to work with. Been coming here for years. I highly recommend this place for family or individuals.
Office is very disorganized. They shift you around from the site you thought you have. Beach was nice and lake was small but good for kayaking. Had a nice fireworks show over the lake. Bathrooms have not been updated since the 70s. No place to put stuff. Has no counters. No locks on the stalls. Showers cost $1 and only take quarters. Painted cinderblock showers need updates badly. No temp control in the showers. This campground has potential but needs some money spent on it. Be sure to bring extensions for electric. Sites are not marked out in the group areas.
