The sites are very very small. It was difficult to park the RV and trailer. We were sticking out a little bit. The shower houses/ bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. They were quite dirty. No bench to put your belongings on while showering. They advertised laundry, office/ store, coffee/ drink trailer, but they haven’t got the permits or something like that. Either way none of those amenities were available. Is it a beautiful park, yes! I realize they still have to work out the bugs, since they just opened a few months ago. Tim and the staff were there if you needed help and offered suggestions. If you have a big rig, my suggestion is don’t go here. Very tight quarters.
We had a wonderful stay!! I was a little worried with some of the reviews. But we found the park , bathrooms, and the pool were kept pristine, a lot of socializing opportunities . Tim, Bill and crew were outstanding anything you needed was taken care of immediately. They were available 24/7👍Might be small but we found it very relaxing and the location was great!! We already booked for next year😎
We’ve been to so many different RV parks over the years and have never had a crew as good or as nice as Tim, Bill, and Matt! The park is so clean and well kept. They clean and maintain all day long and always have a smile on their faces! They even came to play with our dog and give him treats! We almost feel like family because of these guys! Our site is perfect and fit our 40 foot Rv with no problems and had a place to park our tow vehicle. The pool is awesome and the nightly fire is always a great place to meet new people (because Tim, Bill, or Matt always makes sure it’s lit and then makes sure it’s off safely even hours after their day is over!). The park is only a 20 minute drive to Key West but there are several restaurants and stores close by. I truly can’t say enough nice things about this park and the 3 fabulous men who keep it going! I wish every park had staff as nice, professional, and personable as these guys! We are definitely coming back!
Sun Outdoors Summerland Key is a slice of paradise! Brand new with beautiful landscaping and clean blacktop. Bathrooms were very nice and very clean. Outdoor public spaces are top notch! Pool, big tiki hut and the floating dock are incredible! Paddle boards, kayaks and floating cabanas! Not too often do you discover a campground that you need to rest-up to do the next “at-home”activity! The staff… are always attentive, engaging, friendly and knowledgeable! Tim, Bill and Matt are great! From parking suggestions in Key West to restaurant recommendations - each shared great information. Fabulous KEYS spot!
