About Campground

Amazing campsite located near Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park (20 mins), Gooseberry Mesa (20 mins) and Zion National Park (50 mins). We are just 5 miles outside of Colorado City, AZ and Hildale, UT in the rural ranching area of Cane Beds. This is an unincorporated area that is 5 minutes to the gas station, grocery store, coffee shop and brewpub, but feels like it's on the edge of the world.

Land Beyond Zion is surrounded by beautiful Navajo sandstone rock walls filled with Paiute petroglyphs and incredible fresh water springs. We have incredible hiking just across the street from our property, so no need to go anywhere if you want to just chill out in the desert.

Our campsite offers water, power, flushing toilets, hot showers, a clawfoot bathtub, wi-fi, an outdoor kitchen with a fridge, gas firepits and platforms to pitch your tent on. We have horses next door for neighbors who will come over and munch an apple out of your hands and we are dog friendly!

We like to call our spot a boutique glampground, campground and vanlife gathering space. Rent the whole 2 acres for a group gathering or just pull up and park in one of our spots. We have power hookups and water taps throughout the property.

Don't have a tent or van with you? Inquire about our tiny home, tent or travel trailer options. We also have a few pop up tents you can rent!

Directions

We are located 1.1 miles off of highway 89. Travel toward Coral Pink Sand Dunes and look for the 3rd right hand turn (Mountain View Drive). We are on the corner of Cane Beds Road and Mountain View Drive. Once you leave the highway you will not have cell service. The road is paved until our property, then take a right and you will be on a well groomed dirt road for just a second as you turn into our property. Look for solar lights and pay attention to your mileage count once you leave the highway. We can be found on Google Maps if you type that in, but again, remember you won't have cell service once you leave the highway. If you start going up a slight hill you have gone too far.

We LOVED Land Beyond Zion. Shanti does everything she could to make you feel welcome without being too much. She pays attention to all the little details that make you feel pampered: heated bathroom, chimes outside the outdoor shower, festive lights all around, unbelievably fast WiFI. She helps create a community feeling amongst all the guests by creating all these cozy communal spaces. On top of all that, she’s an excellent hiking/exploring guide with tons of worthwhile advice on where to go and what to do- in or out of Zion National Park. She’s willing to share everything in her life with any guest - from a good story about the area to her trekking poles to vegetables from her garden to her lovely son and dog.

Shanti was absolutely amazing at helping me and my group hike Angel's Landing! There is no way I would have done it without her. She is so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She made our day so enjoyable! Next time I come to Zion I will definitely be booking her to be my guide on my next adventure!

Awesome place to stay that is off the beaten path. Shanti is very personable and makes you feel like family. Whether it's a hike, seeing Zion, or just taking a breath of fresh air, this place is amazing. And very well clean and well kept.

We had a wonderful time, and wished we could have stayed longer. Shanti was an amazing host, taking so much care of this beautiful place.

It is way more than a campground, it is a community and definitely a safe place, peaceful, and beautifully managed. Come with an open mind and leave with beautiful memories.

I would not only recommend this place, I will definitely come back when I get the chance to visit this gorgeous region again.

Shanti was an amazing host and loved the guide throughout Angel's Landing (during a solar eclipse) and surrounding areas! Most definitely, a must visit and stay. Will not disappoint.

Can't wait to return in the future. Yee! 🙌
