Nice area to visit with children. Many activities provides by the resort. Pool, tennis, basketball, board games, videos, play ground. And you can go to the sister resort for the water park. The cabins are very nice as well. Pleasant relaxing stay. Even drove over to First Monday and enjoyed shopping.
Such a neat place! Yes, cabins are old and rustic and could use some updating, but they had everything necessary and fit the rustic camp setting. Tons of activities for families and the a/c and wifi made it easy to take a break from the Texas heat and get some work done!
Absolutely love this company. The employees here are taught to really care for their guests.. It's a great place for a family cause they have tons of amenities. Great place to fish. The management and staff is so friendly and really care about how your experience was. Great job. Will definitely come back cause the staff was so great and had an amazing time.
We've visited Lake O' The Woods many times over the past couple of years and it's a great place to visit and relax. The playground for kids is AMAZING and the pool is a good size. This place does only have one pool, but it's never been too crowded when we've been there. The cabins are loft style cabins which are great, but not so great for my little kids that like to go fast down stairs. I just block the stairs off and they can't get up them to the loft. The cabins have always been clean and the staff great.
These little cabins were very cute. We (family of 5) stayed there very comfortably. The only issue we ran into was that of small house living with kids (it's hard for the grown ups to stay up and watch a movie after the kids go to bed, when everyone is living on top of each other!) But the woods were beautiful, the little pool was relaxing, the lake was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time! Plus, there are lots of interesting things to do and restaurants to try in nearby Flint and Tyler.
