This is one of my favorite places to camp. It’s quite, peaceful and absolutely beautiful. The hiking/horse trail is wonderful. My family brings their horses and it’s so nice we don’t want to leave.
Went in the off season but took the horses on the short loop and it was amazing. Trails are well marked and while there are places that need some work, overall the ride was incredible!
Trails had recently been cleared. Parking area was very clean and so was the pit toilet. Nice mounting block to aid getting on your horse.
Beautiful Forest with winding trails leading up hills and hollers, perfect for hiking and equestrian adventures.
Some of the trails aren't maintained and the map box was empty which would've been helpful to have since there's no cell service. Pretty clean to hike on though considering it's made for horses, there wasn't much droppings on the trail
