Located 18 miles north of Marietta on State Route 7.
We camped here a few years back. I wasnt impressed. Very small camp ground for tents. Its mostly full of RV sites. When we stayed the camp groundskeeper was rude to us...Seems to be a place friendly for returning RV campers they already know. I'll not return. We got
glared at all night and watched like we was criminals. Came with family and children fishe and camped. Groundskeeper or whoever is over the RV section who lives there needs a change of attitude.
It was okay. Fairly large spots and nice location along the river. But somewhat lacking in facilities. If you were in tents, there were 2 pit toilets and one flush toilet (and one shower). If you were in an RV, it was electric only at site, no water or sewer. And a minimal dump station So somehow didn't cater to either? And being in a Nation Forest, minimal connectivity. Overall a site with promise that needs more investment.
