Located between Stanford and Lancaster off of Highway 27.
I've been here multiple times. Absolutely beautiful, quiet, and very well maintained! The location is centered around the lake and does have some fish. Play grounds, trails, gazebos, it's all wonderful and worth the visit! However, at least for my entire family, the fishing is meh at best. But that is my only negative! Everything else is super nice!
Bathrooms were closed, lake banks dirty & mostly impassable, basketball goals were old and broke down, waking areas grown up but passable for horses.
Wonderful atmosphere and great place to take my sons senior pictures. Bathrooms were extremely clean. The playground area is great for all ages and they have basketball goals for kids that like to play basketball. Amazing trails for horseback riding and a quite and peaceful place to go fishing as a family or by yourself. I plan on taking my family there this summer.
Extremely unique park, out in the cut.
There is a large amount of space for recreation. As you're driving to the park, there's a long road that goes across the 12 acre lake where people can fish. I did see a couple of people out in boats fishing. After you drive past the lake, you keep going and in the back there is a big playground with slides, swings, etc. There's also a large picnic area that is shaded and it has about 15 picnic tables. It can be rented. There are paths for walking, running, and biking, disc golf, horseback riding trails.
The parking lot is extremely big.
