Located 15 miles southeast of Hazard on Ky 15.
Great place to boat and fish and cook out and play grounds. Wish they would leave the gate opened up on the campground and shelter that are across from the dam
Was a good place to rest and reorganize. Pretty location but not much to do in the immediate area. It could also use some funds for upkeep and repairs. Would I make this a destination? Not for me.
Beautiful place and very nice camp ground. The swimming area was closed when I visited but it looked clean and well managed. The on-site staff was friendly and helpful. Camp sites are close together but RVs, pull behind, pop-up, & tents are welcome.
Decent swim area, but outdated facilities. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded late in the day and there's lots of lake to access by kayak. Campground seems RV friendly, but I didn't see any tents. Playground for kids.
Most awesomeness place in the world.....Great Smallmouth Bass Lake ,They have been some 5lb fish caught in this lake...They have hiking trails camp sites w electric,sewer hook up....
