Great place just don't get under a mulberry tree it's messy in and out of camper and it took me 2 car washes to get off truck otherwise great location
Cabins are clean. Though they do need a little maintenance on the floors especially cabin 10. Otherwise very nice.
We only drove through Walnut River, we camped in Boulder Bluff. Walnut River is a nice area, good shade but most of the spaces are closer than my liking.
Great campground, great biking trails! Nearby campers had a bike stolen, other then that good times!!
Lots of paved trails and some not. Winding through the trees to bridges to cross over waterways. Peaceful from town to the lake dam. I have volunteered for Tour de Cure races on these trails in the past.
