Love it just needs maintained i have to say, lots of rocks and cross ruts in certain areas (not most) has a lot of downhill jumps though, [sides i got to say that in some theres to much rocks and ruts which if they weren't there it would make it much better] but like i said it a national forest so it makes since but if they did this i feel like it would be in my top 3 list for places to go cause the down hill jumps are so perfect and then the ruts and rocks just mess it up.. Anyways those are the cons but, PROS: Place is really good for any type of riding skill just make sure when your riding look at signs and have a more skilled rider infront to judge if the rest of your pack are able to do it (mostly for kids and stuff) but for more experienced riders this isnt a deal, got to say though this place is really fun well shaded and a good place for the weekend. I'd spend 2 days max for more skilled riders and if not no more then 3 for more unexperienced riders to cover everything. Other then that this place is really fun and totally worth it to go! I'd also reccomend a GPS so you know how to get back if not a map for sure and just focus on trails that are marked to get back to camp.. Go Have fun out there! And make sure when you go its red sticker season October 1st to May 31st! If green sticker dont worry about it

Fun place to ride, camp, and explore. Tons of dirt roads leading everywhere to separate camps (only a few have actual grounds and a restroom or two) that are easily traversed in a truck and a lot of the areas you could also make in a car or RV. Then of course there are tons of trails to ride on that stem off of the main tods leading through the area. The trails are rated for difficulty at the beginning of them but beware of some of the "intermediate" trails as they can get pretty steep with a lot of loose rocks/boulders. It makes them pretty difficult and you may have to end up turning back. Of course there is the small creek running through with a small waterfall that can be seen from the main roadways. There are 2 easy entrances right off of highway 41 to gain access to the area. There doesn't seem to be many (or any) staff/toll booths/entrance gate to get access to any of the areas.
