Beautiful area to take the entire family! This trail goes a lot further than we ever go but the kids just love hanging around the river and climbing on rocks and in the sand. It’s a nice escape from the city and smog. You’ll enjoy fresh air and the smells of nature that will keep you coming back.

We went nov 20 during a snow storm. It was very easy to access. Very clean, gorgeous, not too many visitors during the week. Great spot to enjoy snow with little ones as there is plenty of parking, bathrooms available to the public, and you are able to get back to the city quickly in case of an emergency, local restaurants seem cozy and friendly. The trail is easy to follow. Overall great experience! Forest Falls is the best!

Nice and easy beautiful scenery. Maybe make the entrance a little smooth not made for a car of any sort you will scrap bad. Some restrooms would be lovely. Also maybe a branch or two more. Make the trash more easily accessible.

Good hike. Easy on the first mile and a little strenuous later on as you climb higher. Some area of the trail were loose but overall well maintained. There's no marker but it's obvious where the trail is.

Definitely a neat trail. I could see how markers in spots could improve it but someone has done work laying rocks or sticks/logs for easier following. It was pretty well maintained. Lots of wildlife and plants. Many different birds and mammals. Some of it is shaded so that's nice in the hot sun. I did see a mountain lion on the trail a few miles up so be prepared and always vigilant! Good luck and be safe!
