My favorite place to look at the stars at night. On clear nights and due to the lack of light pollution, is one of the best spots if to drive up to look at the starts (specially amazing during meteor shower nights) . Also don't forget to stop by the Johnson Mesa church. the only structure off the road, built in 1897. A nice drive during the day or at night
What a wonderful surprise to stumble upon this epic mesa whilst exploring the remote forest roads for a place to pitch our tent.
