Actual Block number is unknown. I used block 37 as it was the only option that appeared. This is an Off-Grid property that was featured on the Discovery Channel DIY. The name of the property is the 'Desert Den. '
Very cool place built by a beautiful couple (Beau and Samantha). We were there for 3 days assisting in upgrade and maintenance on the property. This isolated, desert area is only for those that are truly wanting a roughing-it experience with a sprinkling of modern conveniences. We suggest you view the one hour show "Desert Den" on the DIY Channel. It was free, but now (2023) it is $1.99 at various outlets like YouTube. It features beautiful mountain range views in the background. Near the "Earthships Community." Beau was a student/worker of Earthships. He spoke highly of that experience. NOTE: THE PROPERTIES IN THIS AREA ARE BUILT AND MAINTAINED TO BE PURPOSELY ISOLATED. PLEASE RESPECT THE PEOPLE AND PROPERTY IN THEIR DESIRE FOR PRIVACY. DO NOT WALK ON IN PROPERTIES WITHOUT PERMISSION. PRIVACY IN THIS AREA IS OF GREAT CONCERN, YET MANY OF THE OWNERS HAVE RESPECTFUL AND CLOSE RELATIONSHOPS. IT SEEMS TO BE AN AREA THAT IS WELL SELF-REGULATED IN THE SHEDDING OF ELEMENTS OF THIEVES AND THIEVERY.
