Great trail for beginner - intermediate offroading. Easy lines for beginners with more complex routes for intermediate riders. Great veiws along the way, definitely check it out if you're in the area!
Great experience! Medium level trail, would recommend taking off running boards but was manageable even with them on for novice level offroaders in a '22 4x4 Ford Ranger.
We saw Johnny Park but it was full of UTV's and motorcycles. The drive up there and back was beautiful. There was small waterfalls all surrounded by the mountains. It does say you are on Big Elk Meadows, but we didn't see any elk. Do not drive a fancy vehicle because most of the road is loose gravel. Next time we try out the atv and utv trails.
