I’m new here in Grand Rapids, so I’m trying to get out and see all the new, fun things that are going on around here. Stopped at the fair grounds a couple days ago, and they had a logging event going on, and it was fun to look at all the machinery; semi trucks, skid loaders and the huge tools used for cutting down trees and moving them. Not something you see every day in Anoka. But I checked out the Mesabi trail while I was there too, I love biking, and it was fun. Had a pork chop on a stick too, yum. Can’t wait to see what other events will be happening there in the future.

Quiet campground with a lot of space to camp out. Bathrooms are fairly clean. Could use a couple more picnic tables and fire rings throughout. Rustic camping was a "free-for-all" with no designated spots to set up and park vehicles. Beautiful space to spend a couple of days car camping in during Riverfest.

Always a good time at the county fair meeting up with friends and family. Nice array of local exhibits and yummy fair food.

Had a good time. Even every year it gets smaller and smaller less rides and food booths. But it's still the fair and fun for the kids.

Fair has become very small over the years. The company they have handled the ride do not bring very many rides. There is a lot of room for improvements. The fair grounds size has been reduced for a round-about. During the Fair and large events most all local parking is blocked of trying to force people to pay for parking, even then you may walk just as far if not further then if you found a free public park do to parking people way back in the woods. The farm animals are always fun to see thou. Deer rivers wild rice festival is now becoming a better option.
