Great people, and place.

They work hard to meet your request. Caught some good fish. Reasonable rates.

NOT WORTH the amount of $$$$ they charge! Stayed in their largest sleeper ice house (10×20) sleeps eight. The top four bunks are about 18 inches from the ceiling...NOT easily accessible unless your a child. These houses are bare minimum. There is a 4 burner stove. No cupboards no shelves; one very small counter. Also only ONE outlet...for 8 people! Also have to bring your own generator! Toilet option is a port-a-potty, which is understandable, but rig up a light in it at least. There are nails to hang your coats/purses on! Yay! There was a fold up table and chairs, which is handy. I know catching fish isn't guaranteed, but the houses could be placed on the most saught out areas. Only 2 options for bait: fatheads and waxy's.

Their prices for everything inside the resort is well overpriced and only have fryable appetizers!

On the day we left, was told it's $6/bag of trash, yet it's free for the cabin renters. Also have to pay extra to use the fish cleaning house...even though we payed $500/night!!!! The only thing worth giving five stars was the heat. We stayed very warm! Also, the roads out on the ice are plowed nice and maintained.

Tips to the new owners: make the ice houses worth the money! Add cubby shelving..even small ones on the wall alongside each bed would do! Get more outlets. Don't expect your already renting customers to also pay extra for the things you THINK would be included like trash disposal and use of fish cleaning house! Ask your guests how everything is going, how's the fishing, anything we could do for you.. Etc.

We will NOT rent from here again!

Beautiful resort, great view. The owners are wonderfully nice people and the cabins are perfect. Lots of toys to rent so there's never a shortage of fun. The lodge bar is great and there are so many different styles for the merchandise. Definitely will be back!

Service was slow the young blond that was working in the mornings was nice and professional... Not sure who took over after her on sat night but the handed me my change back folded up and when I was walking back toy car noticed that she short changed me. Guessing that's why the money was folded up hoping I wouldn't notice. Must have needed it. Was told 6 dollars for 4 pops gave her a ten and got 2 dollars back....
