Moorehead Park is located 1 mile west of Ida Grove on Highway 59/175.
Very pleasantly surprised. Obviously you are in Iowa. Fields. The park is very clean, smells amazing, and has very nice trails. Wasn't expecting to enjoy my time in Iowa. By no means is Moorehead anything special. But I would highly reccomend making a pit stop. A nice change of scenery from the fields and farms.
So incredibly beautiful! Perfect trails that are challenging but not technical.
Very Fortunate to have such a park locally. Plenty to do for all ages!
We have always loved this place ever since moving to the area a few yrs ago, we were there Sunday for a GPS Easter egg hunt and the kids had so much fun; it was wonderful
