Hillview has 3 campgrounds, Deer Ridge, Bur Oak and Beaver Creek. The Deer Ridge Campground is accessible from Wren Road, while Bur Oak and Beaver Creek are accessed from the C60 entrance.
Campers may not occupy a campsite site for more than 14 days during a 21 day period.
Deer Ridge is a modern campground, with 27 sites with water and 50 AMP electric hook ups at each site. Campers with an ADA parking placard may use site 15. A modern shower house with restrooms, two camping cabins and a playground are also located in this campground. The fishing pond and swimming beach, as well as a disc golf course and a number of hiking trails are located close to this campground as well.
Bur Oak has 18 campsites with electric hookups. Campsites are good for small campers, but larger units will have a hard time in this campground. The campsites are paved and roughly 40' x 10'. A vault toilet is available at this campground as well as a communal water hydrant. The elk enclosure, picnic shelter, Center for Outdoor Learning, and playground are all very close to this campground. The fishing pond and swimming beach are just a short walk or drive from Bur Oak.
Beaver Creek is a primitive campground, suitable for tents only. There is an upper camping area with a vault toilet and communal water hydrant, that is tucked into the oak timber. The lower camping area has a water hydrate near the parking lot and an outhouse near the campsites. Campsites are in an open area near creek.
