I love this place it is soooo peaceful. We primitive camp at this site and do some fishing. First, if you want a quiet getaway with just your family, this park is perfect. The area we pitched our tent in could have fit up to (12) 4-person tents or an area to set up a volleyball net. We got caught in a storm for a bit but because of the tree coverage we didn't lose our fire. There are showers and restrooms and it is pet-friendly. My only issue is the fishing area. Where we camp there's a small cove down a hill that is dangerous to get up and down from. If you want to get close to the water you will have to go on the other side (you can drive there) but there's no shade so bring your canopy or something to shade you and a chair. There were a few mosquitos and the flies after the rain were biting. I still give this park a 5 start rating because you can camp without being next to someone you don't know. I love the peacefulness and the beauty.
This park has 1 cabin that is never available.
Cabin and public shower were clean. Nice setup with fire and water outside cabin. Cabin has AC and nice view. Park staff was accommodating. Very enjoyable spot to get a little bit away from things!
Is a small park, but still great to have fun with friends and family... is a very good place for fishing and mosquitoes...
One of the nicer limited use cabins I've been in. Ridiculously clean. Had a blast.
