We stayed here in a 24ft motor home. Cons: Our electric pole had loose contacts and so electricity would cut off pretty often. Maintenance guy went to look for a female plug but never came back. Really crowded. Our neighbor moved their picnic table into our spot, interfered with our tow. Trashy, I picked up a lot of trash including some gross old nitrile gloves that were there for days. Internet was $10 a day, what? it's 2003?? Pros: close to Yosemite.
Good location, good price and will stay again - Lucky to get an end spot so we had plenty of room, other spots were visibly cramped. The toilets and shower block was pretty standard, no issue with cleanliness, although 1 shower isn't enough for the campground so there were queues. We ended up using the shower in our RV and therefore we found our stay enjoyable. Only issue was the water faucet was in the wrong location for our RV so recommend bringing a long hose so you can stay hooked up.
We had a wonderful stay at this campground! It was indeed one of our highlights at Yosemite. The location was great(25 mins to the valley floor) which made our whole trip super nice! We camped here for 3 nights, the evening of arrival we were greeted very nicely, check in was very smooth, she covered everything in a prompt and very detailed about the campground and the area itself, suggested places to visit Yosemite. Also to mention they have a cute little store with the essential items ice, wood, drinks) . We had a wonderful picnic at the river walk ( cedar lodge) some string lights that added a great ambiance. The campground is very nice, the restrooms can use some new equipment but we were weren't expecting anything luxurious as we are camping and we knew we were sharing with the rest of the camp, they were cleaned and stocked during our stay so we cannot complain. I would stay here again!!
The localization is awesome! Very near to Yosemite park. Good option for going by car or using Yarts service (there is a pickup/drop off point five minutes walking from the RV park). However the site maintenance is creepy: the restrooms / showers are dirty. The faucets of the shower rooms are falling to pieces. The reception is clumsy (if you arrive after 5 PM, don’t waste your time going to the main office. Stop by the Cedar Lodge Office and ask for assistance). And, last but not least: 10 bucks for Internet access for 12 hours is a joke. They should review their price policies and include internet on this (and also take care of cleanliness and maintenance).
