In North Central South Dakota: 2 miles southeast of Mobridge off US Hwy 12.
Very well kept. Lots of camping spaces. Plenty of trails, picnic tables, and restrooms.
DO NOT ENFORCE LEASH LAW. Multiple dogs were in our campsite with no owner to be found. This can be bad with small kids or other dogs. Other than that I really love this campground and we come here every year for the Fourth of July. They just need to be better about enforcing the leash law before someone or something gets hurt or killed. Campers need to have respect for others as well and put their dogs on a leash considering it’s in the terms and conditions when you complete your reservation
I'd give it 5 stars if it was cheaper and not so busy. Better plan 90 days out!!
I like to shore fish right below campground A. When water up, can camp from pad
If your family loves to camp, fish or just be near water this is a must stop. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and not to far from town if day camping is preferred
