It's a great place to boat. The people boating on the lake police it. So fun is almost unlimited. Just follow common sense boating and there is no problems.
NOT KID FRIENDLY!!! GOT WARNED NOT TO SWIM
CLOSE TO THE SHORE ONLY IN MIDDLE OF LAKE. WHICH U NEED A BOAT TO ACCESS!!! Great place except the fact you cannot swim of the shore. Only way your allowed to swim is take a boat to the middle of the lake . Ridiculous. My kids are safer swimming by the shore than in the middle of the lake. Will never go back. I'll pay monthly membership that allows us to swim close to shore. If they allowed close to shore swimming it would be a 5 for everything else but maon reason to go camping is my kids want to swim in the lake!!!!!! No
Fished early this year. Landed a huge blue !! Atleast 20/30 lbs. But as I have many disabling conditions it would be nice to have a handicap pier built for us who love to fish.
We pulled into the campsite with our old trailer in tow,,, in the middle of the night. Two rookies RV'ers slept in, still connected to our truck. Next camp director showed up at our door. Helped usset it up We were R V in in an hour
Took a drive out to Canton Lake today. Plenty of places to fish, camp and take an RV. The boat launch is decent sized with a good amount of parking.
