Made wonderful memories finding Keokuk geodes. Find the path down to the creek. We found all we wanted to carry!
If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I found a camera in the girls bathroom. Be sure to look around and check your surroundings before using these facilities.
This is a great park! Seemed fairly well maintained with some rough trails. Very pretty area. Fun and surprisingly easy to find geodes.
We went for their annual free swimming day and it was awesome. Super hot day made it the perfect choice. There was a great turnout but not so much that you fealt crowded. Everyone was very pleasant and happy to be there. The facilities were clean and in tip top shape.
We really enjoyed this park. We basically spent most of the time hiking the trail and looking for geodes. They are EVERYWHERE….everyone found a bunch. If the weather would have been warmer we likely would have let the kids play in the water also.
