No shade, burned up trees everywhere. Widow maker wonderland. Road is terrible, should have 4whl drive. Tiny hot spring with to many people I assume living there. Not a place to visit or camp, try Lolo hot springs

Tiny old shack doesn't hold very many people..... Very cozy with naked hippies th it a long drive on a very rough road. 5 spots to camp. No trees. Burned over years ago.

It's all burned out and the storm started bringing widowmakers down and we had an interesting moment at night in the tent when we realized how close the dead trees are to us... but that's part of the adventure. The site's great, ours was right by the creek, not far from outhouse with the hot spring just beyond. The main tub has been built up and a shelter erected over it with the runoff spilling into a series of decreasingly warm shallow pools before it hits the creek. Definitely worth the drive, hope it gets some conservation work soon, road is a little skinny. No shortage of fire wood, little in the way of ready use kindling, bring a saw. Saw some glass at our site, cleaned it up as best we could, wear shoes in camp, watch your puppers.

It was beautiful. Quiet and refreshing. Scenery like no other. Probably could use a better ladder

Amazing little hot springs and you'll end up in Idaho at the top of the hill at the 3 way road sign. The Road DOES NOT go through so you'll need to backtrack. Good off-road tires and a AWD recommended. Yes it's through much of a charred landscape but there's much new growth and wildlife. Pines need fire to regenerate from pinecone seeds. Definitely worth the drive. It's small, not commercialized. When we went there was no one else. The creek runs below the Hot Springs and has trout in it. There are vault style bathrooms as well. Go Adventure! Drive Slow!
