Whoa, the residents are allowed to let all their trash build up? Not an inviting sight for any new prospects.
LOL this is not a campground, junkyard is the more fitting term for it.
As for the bathrooms, bring your own TP and hover
We ignored the advice of several locals based on their poor experiences at Salmon Meadows and here is what we got for it...
There is black mold caked in all of the showers. (Dont worry, they paint right over it just before 4th of July weekend). On several occasions there would be 3-4 inches of standing water throughout the entire bathroom. Landlord 'Rex' would use his riding mower with no guard on it and shoot rocks at our RV and truck. I came out of my trailer once to address him and a rock shot and hit me in the face. His only response, "Well, I have to mow the grass."
Salmon Meadows doesn't accept any sort of electronic payment so you must pay $375 in cash. This is very odd to me and huge hassle since I have an out of state bank. When my gf and I both came down with Covid I explained to Rex that I have money in my bank account, but not cash on hand as we have been unable to leave our RV. I offered to pay him rent through Venmo or to use my Debit Card which he declined. He then proceeded to drive over to my employer and told them that he was going to evict us. This all happened on the day our rent was due and his refusal to accept anything, but cash (which was never previously discussed). I have never had any issues with any of my previous landlords in the past 15 years of renting. My girlfriend and I have been here for exactly one month and will be leaving. If you are visiting Salmon this Summer, trust me...You do not want to take your family here or deal with Rex. It's not worth it, thank me later.
This used to be a very nice campground. It is now ran down and junky! Trashes overfilling and the majority of people have trash in there yards . If you come here during spring you’re in a mud pit ! They have dogs that seem aggressive running around everywhere. awful place
What a complete and absolute dump. The showers are so humid because the hot water doesn't shut off. No toilet paper in any of the Stalls. People out partying till after 2:00 a.m. so trying to tent was ridiculous trash everywhere none of it in bins or just piles of trash even next to the garbage bin granted it was only $20 a night to tent but I was sleeping in my car. Didn't make me feel safe and would never ever recommend it and wanted out of there so badly didn't bother taking any pictures but all the front windows on the office are covered in paper so you can't see in
