I hadn't been to the area for years, but the trip back invoked memories from visits in the 70's, 80's and 90's. The areas I visited were busy, but not overcrowded, clean and ready to use. Kudos to those that keep order and cleanliness a top priority. I'll be back soon.

MDC does an excellent job managing Huzzah CA and it offers a bunch of activities & features. It had been several years since my last visit, but we recently (01/2024) did some winter hiking/bushwhacking there and I had forgotten how nice it was! Highly recommend to folks that dig the Eastern Ozarks and Meramec River valley.

Great float experience. Campgrounds were well maintained with easy access. Main lodge had all the necessities and more available for purchase. Food delivery to your campsite is available. I recommend placing your order before the float, waiting until after can be hectic. Family friendly as well.

We always have a fun and memorable time down at the Huzzah! The employees are the best!

Beautiful scenery and good times.

Their prices have gone up in the last few years, but this is just a sign of the times.

We can’t wait to go back!
