OMG THIS WAS SO SO MUCH FUN anniversary/ end of the year family trip. Nice, clean and super friendly. Camped next to the river and just the sound of the water was so soothing. The stars look amazing on a clear sky just beautiful and family friendly. Bath house and bathroom were VERY CLEAN and fresh. Love float trip!!!!!
In late August, almost around back to school time, the campgrounds are quiet. We did the 9 mile and everyone in our group was trying to speed through it. The 9 mile was a canoe or kayak only float that let's out at the campsite. There were probably 3 sandbars to park up at on our float. I paid 20 bucks for rivershoes at the hut best pair I have ever had. They sell ice and wood.
Wonderful, beautiful area! Clean and well maintained. Easy access and great water. Can tell it has been updated.
We've been camping and floating here for over 15 years. Affordable rates for all camping, electric, and floating services. I suggest them to everyone. 2.5 miles off main road is paved all the way to the camp ground. If you are a rider then this is a your place to stay. Right along the water so you can camp and fish. Clean bathhouse! Always well maintained property!
Excellent fishing trip with Mark D owner of Adventure Outdoors. Mark knows the river well. Jetted up to the spring and worked our way back downstream through a series of holes full of trout. Caught some, missed some; good day. Great guide.
