This place boasts free camping, and that it does deliver.
However it's incredibly eerie when you're alone, as a local herd of cattle makes a great deal of noise at a far enough distance from the camping area that it is difficult to identify as cattle.
The roads in are very loose limestone gravel that kick a massive cloud of white dust when dry, so leaving once you arrive, especially if it's getting dark, is nearly impossible.
Additionally the loose gravel road is extremely difficult to navigate by motorcycle.
The main site is located on CR 333, 1/2 mile north of “End of County Maintenance” sign. Graveled there was a large puddle on the curve approaching the site. If the main site is occupied, there is a small grassy site about 1/4 mile past the maintenance sign, on the right, where we backed in. Very quiet- you might hear coyotes!
