Located 4 miles from Avon Park and 10 miles from Lake Placid. Turn West off Route 27 (Hammock Rd). Go 1/4 mile. Turn right into park.
Stayed here last year 2019 and will be staying again this year. The owners of the park are wonderful and the people there are so welcoming & friendly that is why we are staying again this year. The park itself is very clean with a heated pool & club house & the owners put on a dinner for the residence once a month. The park itself is small but that is what makes it so great as your one big happy family! Lots of activities to do like bingo, cards, water aerobics, karaoke & shuffle board..ect

I have lived here for 6 year's now and love it. The owner's are the best people you could ever know in fact I have grown to care very much for them. It is a great place, we have a pool, club house and other things. The owner's are remolding to make it look so much better. When it is done they will have the park looking great. So come stay here I know you will love it just as much as I do.
This is a really nice place with great people. I had an electrical issue when I arrived and Tim & the staff worked on my system for over an hour to get it working properly. I tried to pay them for the help, but they would'nt accept it. "That's what we do" he said". Zero issues during my two week stay. The pool is nice & clean, everyone I met in the park was friendly. Not much more to say other then I would stay there again if I'm ever back in Sebring.
Tim, the property manager, does an amazing job maintaining the old world charm. He is kind and considerate while keeping high standards for the property.
Highland Wheel Estate is a nostalgic throwback to the old RVing days with lots of activities and get togethers. The park has a family feel where your neighbors know your name and create a safe atmosphere. If you are lucky enough to get the chance to stay here I would absolutely recommend Highland Wheel Estate!
Family & friends have lived here, as do I currently. The mgmt here (Tim) is the best I've seen in quite awhile. He is kind and firm and interacts with real people skills, and keeps the park safe and looking good. He is a musician who shares his talent with others in the park after hours.
If these are qualities you look for in a managed community, look no further.
