Staff was very friendly and helpful from the time called for reservations til we left. Showers and bathrooms are clean if a little dated and in need of minor repair. The place is old and not used much so I doubt there is enough cash flow to renovate. So, yes the grass is mostly dead but we were there in the high of summer. There is a fairly sketchy trailer park between the camp and the road. I can't really blame the camp for that though. There are some long term residents and dogs who are very willing to bark. Some of the residents were fairly loud as well. But no one bothered us directly and our site was left unattended all day since we were here for a convention. None of our stuff was moved or missing but it IS a little disconcerting to have the manager tell you not to leave valuable items out unattended. Im willing to admit we may have been a little lucky in that respect. So I have two grades for them. If you are looking for a place to camp, enjoy the outdoors, and sit around the fire for recreation: F. Not even close. In town for a couple days and need an inexpensive place to crash: A-. I had no issues with the staff, facilities or neighbors considering I got exactly what I needed for a price I was happy with.
The price is steep. They shut the water off a lot and not tell you they're working on it. The water pressure is horrible and causes our toilet to overfill as it needs decent pressure to work correctly. Cats and dogs crapping in our yard. Cats crawling on our vehicles. Nobody cares.
The building has totally been upgraded bc of my husband & I putting our heart & soul in it it liked like an old unkept army barracks before & then she threw us or for calling her on the carpet as our boss after 4 yrs of living/working there giving us only 3 hours to leave with 2 RVs bc they call it a transient park which it is NO LONGER & several vehicles etc my husband tore down & rebuilt outer buildings by himself for me pennies she's a total narcissist she'll draw u in & then screw you always be careful y'all
It’s a very helpful place when needed and in a low spot in life *my own personal experience* some just like the camper living and it’s a place that offers long term as well as short term. The woman that runs the office, Mrs. Pat, most kind and understanding person ever. Very good woman.
I recently moved into the park, and I love it. It’s quiet super clean and friendly. Anastasia keeps the shower/ restroom impeccable. If there’s any maintenance issues with park property Michael is right on top of it! It’s a matter of pride for them and that’s why I give this place 5 stars I would give more if there were more! I also want to add recently I was sick and someone kindly took my trash to main dumpster!! Small acts of kindness are abundant here!
