Great moderate hiking trails, from 1.9 miles to 11.5 miles. Overnight camping by permit. There are clean restrooms at the north trailhead. A water bottle fill station is at the restrooms.

EV vehicles can recharge in the parking area at the north trailhead.

Well marked and maintained trails take you through forested oak, pine and hemlock paths. A cascading waterfalls and beautiful creek bed can be accessed from the trail.

The remains of a CCC camp have been excavated and a self guided tour can be found along the white trail markers.

Beautiful area and a great moderate hike. Make sure you have good footwear as there are a lot of roots. Ends up being about a 3 mile hike or a little less depending on the route.

Side bonus there is free EV charging thanks to the Rivian Adventure Network (RAN)

If you love hiking, you will love it here!

Beautiful nature, lots to see.

Make sure you have walking stick with you. Some part of the trails you have to walk on the rocks. It’s not that bad just better with walking stick.

You can walk from here to Foster Falls too!

It’s over ten miles, so, we walked to Dog Hole Mines and come back.

We will go back for sure!

Hiked thru the Fiery Gizzard, North to South...One of the best mot challenging hikes I have been on. *** NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!! *** 9 miles to the campsite on the first day. Second day was only 5 but some very serious hiking skills needed.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to go hiking. We completed the 2 mile loop and as a beginner i was impressed with how easy this trail was. Some spots do get narrow and some steep stairs and rocks did slow me down a tad bit over all id say it was a fairly easy hike..
